Ercolania sp. 01  Genus: Trinchese, 1872

Ercolania sp. 01 is characterized by its translucent whitish body with dark green branches of the digestive gland, which are very thick and almost black within the clear cerata, and form a dark green band up the middle of the white rhinophores.
The identification of this species was confirmed by the sacoglossan expert Cynthia D. Trowbridge (pers comment):
"Indeed it looks like Ercolania to me. I have definitely seen it before from Japan but many congeners are undescribed. I will check to see the status of this species."
