Thordisa sp. 01 is characterized by a dark grey background colour, and dorsal tubercles which are compoundedly branched into multiple points. The black rhinophores are lamellate, covered with white specks, and have translucent white tips. The gills are brownish and also covered with white specks.
This species was posted on 28 August 2008 at these websites as Thordisa sp. A  Genus: Bergh, 1877, and on 22 October 2011 changed into
Thordisa sp. 01  Genus: Bergh, 1877.
For some genera was the alphabet almost through. I had to change the distinguishing alphabetic character into a number. I had chosen 2-digit numbers, even though '01' looks a little bit stupid, and now is only the genus italic written.
More pictures of this undescribed Thordisa taken by Johanna Gawron and Mike Miller at Sulawesi Island, Lembeh Straith, Indonesia in 2006 are as Opisthobranch of the week on Mike Miller 's Slug Site!
