Thecacera sp. 05 is characterized by its translucent white background colour with orange logitudinal lines, and by violet rhinophores. The extrabranchial and extrarhinophoral processes are basally of the same colour as the body, merging in the outer part into orange, the apices are white. The gills are the same colour as the body
This species was 2 times the Opisthobranch of the week at Mike Miller's Slug Site #1 and #2. It is as Thecacera sp. 2 in Gosliner et al. (2015), page 119.
