Sclerodoris sp. 06 is characterized by its orange body colour, by whitish papillae on the ridges and on the edge of the mantle, and by whitish gills.
Pretty similar are:
- Halgerda dalanghita  Fahey & Gosliner, 1999 which lacks the papillae and differs by the "Halgerda" gills, and by straight ridges.
- Sclerodoris sp. 07  Genus: Eliot, 1904 which differs by excavations or 'pits' near the mantle margin, and lacks the whitish papillae .
- Sclerodoris apiculata (Alder & Hancock, 1864) [Doris] which lacks the whitish papillae, I misidentified the picture #1 and posted it on
21 November 2012 as this species.
