Pretty similar is Notodoris gardineri which has black mottling rather than distinct lines and spots on the yellow body.

Fahey & Gosliner (2004) synonymized Notodoris Bergh, 1875 with Aegires Lovén, 1844, I changed the name
on 3 February 2005 into Aegires minor (Eliot, 1904) [Notodoris],
Moro & Ortea (2015) removed Notodoris Bergh, 1875 from synonymy under Aegires Lovén, 1844.
I changed the name back into Notodoris minor Eliot, 1904 on 1 February 2016.
