Notodoris gardineri  Eliot, 1906

Notodoris gardineri is characterized by black patches on the yellow mantle.
Pretty similar is Notodoris minor which has distinct black lines and spots on the bright yellow body.
This species was posted on 5 July 2003 on these websites as Notodoris gardineri  Eliot, 1906,
Fahey & Gosliner (2004) synonymized Notodoris  Bergh, 1875 with Aegires  Lovén, 1844, I changed the name
on 3 February 2005 into Aegires gardineri (Eliot, 1906) [Notodoris],
Moro & Ortea (2015) removed Notodoris from synonymy under Aegires.
I changed the name back to Notodoris gardineri  Eliot, 1906 on 1 February 2016.
