Gymnodoris sp. 08 is characterized by its translucent whitish colour with small orange tubercles. The rhinophores are translucent white with orange tips. The 5 simple gills are translucent whitish with very faint orange tips, and are arranged in a small arch in the posterior quarter of the body. There was no size recorded for this specimen, but it is obviously very small, most probably a juvenile.
Very similar (same colour, gills arranged in an arch) are:
Gymnodoris sp. 19 which differs by an orange line on the anterior margin of the head
Gymnodoris sp. 06 which differs by the translucent orange rhinophores, by the gills, which form an almost complete circle, and by the orange tipped paddle shaped posterior end of the foot,
Gymnodoris sp. 13 which has an orange band on the head.
