Favorinus sp. 01  Genus: J.E. Gray in M.E. Gray, 1850

Favorinus sp. 01 is characterized by the purple tips of the cerata, and by the brown lamellate rhinophores. In some specimens are the rhinophores dark pink with brownish apcies, in others tranlucent brownish with white apices. The colour of the cerata depends on the colour of the eggs it has been feeding on, it varies from white to pale orange. The yellowish-orange oral tentacles are relatively long. There is an orange patch on the head, in some specimen an orange longitudinal band.
This species is Favorinus sp. 1 in IPN at page 378.

It feeds on the eggs of other sea-slugs like all members of the genus Favorinus.
