Stylochoidea sp. 02  Superfamily: Poche, 1926

Species of the superfamily Stylochoidea Poche, 1926 are often mistaken for sea slugs because of their head tentacles, which look like the rhinophores of sea slugs.
The above specimen was identified by Marcela Bolaños in the facebook group Marine Flatworms,
here is her comment:"Beautiful specimen!!! Maybe Stylochidae?! I don't know :( Do you have a ventral picture?"
and on another species:"We would need to check other external features as pharynx and eyes to at least determine the family. I can't really tell only with the pictures we need histology. Acotyleas do not cooperate very much!"
