To tell frankly, I never heard that a comb jelly had been mistaken for a seaslug, but sometimes divers are wondering what this might be...
That's why I post pictures of the family Coeloplanidae at these websites.
This specimen looks very similar to Coeloplana sp. 2 in Gosliner et al. (1997) at page 95.
