Thuridilla sp. 01  Genus: Bergh, 1872

Thuridilla sp. 01 is characterized by a yellowish/white background colour with a reddish reticulate pattern. Distinctive is a series of bright blue transverse longitudinal patches on the parapodia, each of them outlined in dark blue, and with a pale yellow median line. On the head at the bases of the rhinophores is a triangle patch of the same colour. The rhinophores are of the same reticulate pattern as the body and the parapodia.
The sacoglossan expert Dr. Kathe R. Jensen writes on this specimen:
"It certainly looks like a Thuridilla. However, I have never seen anything like it! I am sure it is undescribed."
