Thuridilla hoffae is characterized by a dark blue-black background colour.
At the parapodial edge is a bright orange-yellow line, and a broad light blue band
running parallel to the parapodial edge just below the edge. It is separated from the
orange-yellow edge by a thin line of blue-black. The rhinopores are also light blue
except for the tip which is blue-black. A dorsal patch of blue also occurs on the
posterior tip of the foot. The anterior margin of the foot has an orange line.
