Trapania toddi is characterized by a white background colour with reticulate brown patches in which are small white spots. The extra-branchial and extra-rhinophoral processes are white, and have often yellow pigment.
Pretty similar is Trapania sp. B which has brown background colour with minute cream spots and reticulate white patches, and differs by its dark brown rhinophores with minute cream spots.
