cf. is an abbreviation from a Latin word (confer) and means 'refer to' or 'compare with', here it means it could possibly be Nembrotha mullineri or perhaps something closely related, or at least similar in appearance. Nembrotha cf. mullineri is characterized by the brown coloured body with dark cream spots, patches and longitudinal bands. If differs from Nembrotha mullineri by its red spots.

Nembrotha sp. 06 which differs by blue pigment at the 'tail and the oral tentacles.
