Hypselodoris sp. 05  Genus: Stimpson, 1855

Hypselodoris sp. 05 is characterized by its whitish mantle with thin pale brownish longitudinal lines, and opaque white longitudinal lines. At the mantle margin and at the margin of the foot are diffuse bluish-purple spots with a darker spot in the center. The rhinophores are translucent white with orange-red apices, and an orange-red spot at the base of the stalks. The gills are white, edged in orange-red.
Pretty similar are:
Hypselodoris sp. 02 which has also bluish spots at the mantle magin, it differs by the red-brown longitudinal lines and by the opaque white spots on the mantle
Hypselodoris sp. 04 which has also bluish spots at the mantle magin, it differs by the translucent mantle, by thin brown longitudinal lines and minute opaque white spots on the mantle, and by the rhinophores, which are translucent white with two orange bands.
Hypselodoris sp. 06 which has also bluish spots at the mantle magin, it differs by the mottled background colour, and by translucent patches on the mantle near the rhinophores.
