Pretty similar is ‘Doriprismatica’ paladentata which differs by the whitish gills, lined with black or dark brown and has a bluish submarginal band, it also differs by white speckling and scattered brown as well on the notum.
This species was originally posted at these websites as Glossodoris atromarginata (Cuvier, 1804) [Doris],
Johnson & Gosliner (2012) moved it to the provisional genus ‘Doriprismatica’ d'Orbigny, 1839.
Let me quote: "..we will premilinarily name these species ‘Doriprismatica’."
