Discodorididae sp. 04 is characterized by its mottled tan-brownish mantle with dark brown round patches. The rhinophore clubs and the gills are tan.
This specimen was identified by Dr. Richard Willan as Discodoris sp., thanks!
According to
Dayrat, B. 2010. A Monographic Revision of Basal Discodorid Sea Slugs (Mollusca: Gastropoda: Nudibranchia: Doridina). Proceedings of the California Academy of Sciences 61, suppl I: 1-403
has the genus Discodoris only a few species: Discodoris boholiensis, Discodoris cebuensis, and one Discodoris sp. !
I use the family and call it Discodorididae sp. D
It was posted on 23 June 2011 at these websites as Discodorididae sp. D Family: Bergh, 1891, and changed on 31 July 2011 into
Discodorididae sp. 04  Family: Bergh, 1891.
For some genera was the alphabet almost through. I had to change the distinguishing alphabetic character into a number. I had chosen 2-digit numbers, even though '01' looks a little bit stupid, and now is only the genus italic written.
