Aegires sp. 04  Genus: Lovén, 1844

Aegires sp. 04 is characterized by the globular black tips of its tubercles. The apices of the rhinophores are also black.
Pretty similar is Aegires villosus which has purple tipped papillae - I am not convinced that they are distinct!
Aegires sp. 06 is most likely a colour form.
I will keep them seperate until the dust settles.
The first two pictures were posted on 30 May 2006 and on 13 June 2009 at these websites as Aegires villosus, but this species is as Aegires sp. 4 in IPN at page 144, I changed it on 1 May 2011 into Aegires sp. D  Genus: Lovén, 1844,
and changed it on 16 July 2011 into Aegires sp. 04 Genus: Lovén, 1844.
For some genera, such as Trinchesia was the alphabet almost through. I had to change the distinguishing alphabetic character into a number. I hade chosen 2-digit numbers, even though '01' looks a little bit stupid, and now is only the genus italic written.
