Tenellia sp. 35 has a translucent whitish body. The smooth rhinophores are basally translucent orange, the outer half is opaque white. The oral tentacles are white, basally with a bluish tinge. The cerata are translucent whitish, basally and apically yellowish/white in between is a translucent band with a blue spot.
This 3 mm specimen seems to be a juvenile.
This species is most probably a colour variant of Cuthona sp. 2 in IPN page 361, let me quote the description: "Also similar to Cuthona ornata but has a bright red base to the rhinophores. It also has two yellow bands on the cerata between which the blue digestive gland is visible."
This species was posted on 14 March 2015 at these websites as Trinchesia sp. 35  Genus: von Ihering, 1879.
Cella et al. (2016) restricted the genus Cuthona  Alder & Hancock, 1855 to the type species, C. nana (Alder & Hancock, 1842) just like Miller (2004) did, and synonymised the genera
- Catriona  Winckworth, 1941,
- Phestilla  Bergh, 1874,
- Cuthona  Alder & Hancock, 1855 (partim), and
- Trinchesia  Ihering, 1879
with Tenellia  A. Costa, 1866 in the Family Fionidae  J.E. Gray, 1857.
I moved on 10 January 2017 Trinchesia sp. 35  Genus: von Ihering, 1879 to the Genus Tenellia  A. Costa, 1866.
