Marioniopsis sp. 02 is an unidentified or undescribed species of the genus Marioniopsis, or possibly of the genus Marionia. I label it Marioniopsis sp. 02, to distinguish it from other species of Marioniopsis.
Marioniopsis sp. 02 is characterized by a reticulate pattern of dark blue lines forming polygons on the body, and by bright blue spots. I has a reddish background colour and translucent rhinophores with white tips, translucent gills with minute dark spots, and a diffuse white longitudinal median band.
Pretty similar are:
Marioniopsis sp. 01 which differs by the pinkish background colour, by the pinkish rhinophores with turquoise apices, by the translucent turquoise gills, and by lacks the diffuse white longitudinal median band,
Marioniopsis sp. 03 which differs by very faint, almost lacking dark blue blue lines,
Marioniopsis sp. 04 which differs by the reddish background colour, by the series of median tan patches, by tan rhinophores, and by translucent tan gills .
Marioniopsis sp. 05 which differs by the reddish background colour, by the series of median dark grey patches, by tan rhinophores, and by translucent tan gills.
There are many tritoniids with a similar colour pattern, even the bright blue spots and the dark blue lines forming polygons are not distinctive - or there is one species with many colour variants.
This species was posted on 26 June 2003 at these websites as Marioniopsis sp. B  Genus: Odhner, 1934, and on 15 October 2011 changed into
Marioniopsis sp. 02  Genus: Odhner, 1934.
For some genera, such as Trinchesia was the alphabet almost through. I had to change the distinguishing alphabetic character into a number. I had chosen 2-digit numbers, even though '01' looks a little bit stupid, and now is only the genus italic written.
