It is characterized by its transcendent grayish body colour with white speckling. The smooth rhinophores and the long oral tentacles are of the same colour as the body. The cerata are translucent grayish mottled with orange and white.
Dr. Richard C. Willan writes on the above specimen (pers. comment): "It is probably juvenile. But even considering that, I cannot imagine what it would be when it is fully grown."
