I label it Pseudocerotidae sp. 03, because my best guess is that it should be placed in the family Pseudocerotidae Lang, 1884, It is characterized by minute opaque white spots on the light cream body, giving a whitish granular appearance, and by a diffuse orange-brown marginal band, with a narrow black rim. Very similar is Maiazoon orsaki Newman & Cannon, 1996 which differs by a thin white median line, and by marginal ruffles, and lacks the minute opaque white spots. |
