This elongate species is as Philinopsis sp. 3 in IPN at page 41, it is entirely black and very similar to
Philinopsis sp. 01 which has a globular appearance, and to
Chelidonura sp. 01 which is also entirely black and differs by the long 'tails', this specimen was erroneously posted at these websites on 22 December 2012
as Chelidonura sp. 01 Genus: A. Adams, 1850.
Species of Philinopsis are usually found burrowing through sand or mud, or crawling upon it.
