Philinopsis lineolata (H. Adams & A. Adams, 1854) [Aglaja]

Philinopsis lineolata is characterized by its colour pattern of alternating transverse black and whitish lines, there is blue pigment on the papodia at the anterior and the posterior end (head and 'tails'). Species of Philinopsis are usually found burrowing through sand or mud.
