Phanerophthalmus sp. 01  Genus: A. Adams, 1850

Phanerophthalmus sp 01 is characterized by a purplish body, distinctive is the white pigment at the posterior end of the ead shield.
This species is most likely as Phanerophthalmus sp. 3 from Papua New Guinea in Gosliner et al. (2015) at page 33.
The pictures #3 and #4 had been misidentified and posted on 18 January 2015 and 18 April 2015 at these websites
as Phanerophthalmus albocollaris  Heller & Thompson, 1983, with the comment: "They almost lack the white 'W' spot, I'd better label
them Phanerophthalmus cf. albocollaris  Heller & Thompson, 1983." I changed them on 4 July 2019
into Phanerophthalmus sp. 01  Genus: A. Adams, 1850.
